SWF Addresses G20 Space Economy Leaders Meeting (SELM) Precursor Meeting in Shillong, India

SWF Director of Private Sector Programs Mr. Ian Christensen presented at the G20 Space Economy Leaders Meeting (SELM) Precursor Meeting in Shillong, India. The SELM, the 4th such Meeting held under the G20 is a meeting of G20 nation space agencies, with the goal of raising the visibility of space issues within the G20. The SELM Precursor Meeting, held under India's G20 Presidency, was a gathering of Ambassadors and other high level diplomatic representatives in India, and was intended to serve a preparatory role for the SELM to be held in July 2023. Mr. Christensen's remarks (here) focused on the role of responsibility and sustainability in the context of private sector practices; and how G20 nations can support such activities.
