US-Japan Commercial Space Roundtable Held in Tokyo

SWF, in cooperation with the Mansfield Foundation and the Spacetide Foundation and in coordination with the U.S. Department of Commerce Office of Space Commerce, organized a US-Japan Commercial Space Roundtable in Tokyo, Japan, on March 22, 2023.  This event was an interactive discussion between American and Japanese private sector representatives on the role of industry best practices in advancing space sustainability and space industry development. It also included a presentation on norms, policies, and laws in the context of Japanese space activities.  The event was attended by approximately 70 space sector representatives from the US and Japan and preceded the US-Japan Comprehensive Space Dialogue, which was held as a bilateral event between the two governments on March 23 and 24, 2022.
