Director of Space Application Programs Krystal Azelton participated in a discussion titled "Social Benefits of Large LEO Constellations" at the Small Payload Rideshare Association Symposium on September 21, 2021. Moderated by Torsten Kriening from SpacewatchGlobal, this panel included remarks from David Hartshorn from Geeks without Frontiers and Therese Jones from the Satellite Industries Association on the value of rural connectivity. They also considered potential challenges to realizing these benefits.
