SWF Staff Contributes to Discussion of Perspectives of Developing Countries on Space Resources and Lunar Activities

SWF Director of Private Sector Programs spoke as a panelist in a webinar on the topic  "Involving Everyone: Perspectives of Developing Countries on Space Resources and Lunar Activities."  The webinar was organized by the SGAC Space Exploration Project Group (SEPG) and a recording is available via the Group's Facebook page. Mr. Christensen's remarks drew from his experience as Chair of SocioEconomic Panel of the Hague International Space Resources Governance Working Group as well as outcomes from a Workshop on SocioEconomic Benefits of Space Resources Utilization SWF organized with partners in Pretoria, South Africa in May 2019. Other speakers included Ms. Nuria Ali, SGAC National Point of Contact for Kenya, Ms. Laura Salcedo, SEPG Member from Colombia, and Mr. Ghanim Alotaibi, SGAC Regional Coordinator for the Middle-East and Chair of the PESC Project at the Moon Village Association; and Mr. Antonino Salmeri Co-Lead of the SGAC Space Exploration Project Group.
