Workshop Discusses African Perspectives on Space Resources Utilization

SWF partnered with the South African National Space Agency (SANSA) to organize a Workshop on SocioEconomic Benefits of SpaceResources Utilization - African Perspectives. The workshop, which took place in Pretoria, South Africa on 24-25 May, brought together diplomats and space agency representatives from several African countries (including Algeria, Ethiopia, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa and the African Union) and experts from the terrestrial mining, space agency, space industry and academia to discuss questions of space resources benefits in the developing/emerging space nation context.
