Fifty Years of Space Law - Space Law in 50 Years

SWF Space Law Advisor Chris Johnson served as a researcher at the Centre for Studies and Research in International Law and International Relations at the Hague Academy of International Law, located at the Peace Palace in the Hague, Netherlands. This year's progamme at the Centre, under co-directors Stephan Hobe and Phillipe Achilleas, is "Fifty Years of Space Law - Space Law in 50 Years". Mr. Johnson's chapter for the resulting publication by the Academy is tentatively entitled "Space Law: A Self-Contained Regime?" and explores the relationship between space law and other special regimes of international law. The Peace Palace is also the home of the International Court of Justice and the Permanent Court of Arbitration.
