Chris Johnson Presents at the American Bar Association Forum on Air and Space Law

SWF Project Manager Chris Johnson gave a presentation entitled “International Legal and Political Context of Active Debris Removal (ADR) and On-Orbit Servicing (OOS)” at the recent American Bar Association Forum on Air and Space Law’s one day space law symposium ‘Space Law - Current and Future Issues’ on June 8, 2016 at Dentons Law Firm in Washington, D.C. His presentation discussed the international legal context and the legal and political issues surrounding both Active Debris Removal and On-Orbit Servicing. These emerging technological capabilities may soon create attractive business opportunities, but they also pose complex and subtle political and legal issues which remain to be solved.
