SWF is Founding Partner of International Working Group on Space Resources

Secure World Foundation has joined with five other partners to found an international Working Group focusing on the collaborative development of policy and legal building blocks to enable, support, and co-ordinate the use of space resources in a manner that is consistent with current treaty obligations. The Hague Space Resources Governance Working Group is composed of a wide range of commercial, government, and academic organizations with an active interest in the development of space resources activities. SWF Executive Director, Dr. Michael Simpson, will serve as one of the Vice-Chairs of the Group. Working Group activities have already begun, and the Group will hold its first in-person meeting in April 2016.
