SWF Staff Featured in Videos from 2015 AMOS Conference

The Maui Economic Development Board (MEDB) has published two video recordings from the 2015 Advanced Maui Optical and Space Surveillance (AMOS) Conference featuring SWF staff. The first video is from Day 2 of the Conference on September 17, 2015, and features SWF Washington Office Director Ms. Victoria Samson introducing the keynote speaker, Mr. John Hill, Principal Director For Space Policy with the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy, and moderating a panel discussion on "SSA for Enhancing Norms of Behavior and Resilience."

The second video is from Day 3 of the Conference on September 18, 2015, and features SWF Technical Advisor Mr. Brian Weeden introducing the keynote speaker, Mr. George Nield, Associate Administrator for Commercial Space Transportation at the Federal Aviation Administration, and moderating a panel discussion on  "SSA Challenges and Opportunities from the Growing Private Sector Presence in Space." 

In addition to its role in the Policy Forum, SWF also held the 4th AMOS Dialogue in Maui as part of the conference to bring together government and industry stakeholders to discuss space traffic management.
