Report of the Regional Workshop on the Long-term Sustainability of Space Activities Now Available

Last month the Secure World Foundation, in collaboration with the Central American Association for Aeronautics and Space (ACAE) and with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Costa Rica, held a regional workshop on the long-term sustainability of space activities. Organized in the context of the long-term sustainability (LTS) guidelines effort underway in the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (UNCOPUOS), the workshop engaged representatives from the Group of Latin American Countries (GRULAC) members of UNCOPUOS.

The summary report includes an overview of the program and captures highlights from the discussions of the workshop, which were not for attribution. Presentations given during the workshop were on the record and are also available on the event page.
