Why Does Space Matter to International and National Security?

Outer space activities play an increasingly important role in everyday life and are essential to international and national security. Despite their importance, little is understood about the space environment and the activities we conduct there outside of the space policy community. On the evening of Thursday, February 7, 2013, Young Professionals in Foreign Policy (YPFP) and Secure World Foundation (SWF) will host a panel discussion and networking reception to address the importance of space to international and national security. The event will take place from 6 PM until 8 PM.
