Ian Christensen Attends the 11th Annual Ilan Ramon International Space Conference in Herzilya, Israel
The Conference, organized by the Fisher Brothers Institute for Air and Space Strategic Studies, is a memorial to Israeli astronaut Colonel Ilan Ramon; a crew member on the tragic STS-107 Space Shuttle Columbia flight. During the Conference Mr. Christensen also participated in a workshop hosted by the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC), focusing on issues related to small satellites.

Brian Weeden Moderates Panel on Space Traffic Management at FAA Commercial Space Transportation Conference In Washington, DC
The panel featured speakers representing commercial satellite operators, the White House, Department of Defense, and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The discussion highlighted various perspectives on the future of space situational awareness data and services to support improved space safety and sustainability, and changes to federal agency roles and responsibilities for providing oversight of U.S. private sector space activities. Brian Weeden and Laura Delgado López attended the 53rd session of the Scientific and Technical Subcommittee of UNCOPUOS in Vienna, Austria
SWF staff presented a summary of SWF's recent activities at the 2016 spring meeting. SWF is a permanent observer to the United Nations Committee On the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (UNCOPUOS), and has been active with UNCOPUOS and its subcommittees since 2008.
